Since January 2023, the network tariffs have been partly calculated on the basis of the capacity tariff. To reduce this part of your bill, it is advisable to use as few devices as possible at the same time. Thanks to your solar panels, you can keep your monthly peaks low by using as much electricity as possible when your installation produces it.

Are you not at home during the day and do not have a home battery? Then consider purchasing a home battery. This way you store your surplus electricity for those times when your solar panels do not produce electricity and you still use energy-consuming appliances (e.g. charging electric car, heat pump). You do not pay a capacity rate on your injection peaks.
