Often there is a difference between the total energy generated - as indicated in the Omnik or Solis portal - and the sum of the separate periods. There is a reason for this:


The generated energy is measured by two different meters in your Omnik or Solis inverter. One meter continuously adds up the generated energy to the total. The other meter measures the daily production. The data of the last meter are not stored on your inverter. This means that when the connection between the inverter and your internet network is (temporarily) lost, the data from this meter is lost as well. However, the data of the first meter (with the total energy) always remain accurate.
